  •  Thanks for this, Cool (9+ / 0-)

May we recall that it was my own (and yours, if I remember?) US  so-called representative, Pete "Taliban" Sessions TX-32 who pulled this sort of stuff in the US House?!?!?  He and another Rep were out of the Capitol building, at a fund-raising event, I might add, and felt that they had taken their OATH oF OFFICE since they did it remotely by Tee-Vee!  You can't make THAT Sh*T up, either!  Subsequent votes that they took on bills had to be annulled and re-voted.

I guess Pete learned this in Texas, though I think he was never a Texas state rep.

Wiki has this list of his mis-deeds:

    3 Controversies
    3.1 "Most Corrupt in Congress"
    3.2 Connections to Abramoff
    3.3 Taliban comments
    3.4 Blimpgate
3.5 Ties to Ponzi schemer Allen Stanford
3.6 Illegal contributions from Wyly Brothers
    3.7 Racial comments
    3.8 Missed Swearing-in for the 112 Congress

You of the other 49 states, DC, and other US territories and possessions, please see what we put up with here.

    Peace.

Torture is Wrong! We live near W so you don't have to. Send love.
