  •  My cavassing partner and I (13+ / 0-)

covered about ten blocks in Fond du Lac yesterday for Jessica King.  It was a very average neighborhood, not rich, not poor.  We were out for three hours.

The feeedback we were getting from people made me feel pretty confident, but we have to keep the pressure on!
A 51% win is not good enough!

    ruleoflaw's righteous rant™
We have some very vulnerable Republicans here and some strong Democratic challengers.  With hard work, a good ground game and some cash we can win.
But I'm not settling for a win here.

I want to beat them in a rout, a slaughter, a landslide.  We need more than just a win.  We need to send a message to the Kochs and their toadies that we are coming for their asses with a hickory switch and a clear conscience.

I want the Republican shitheels to whimper and soil themselves everytime somebody says "Wisconsin"!

From now until Walker is out on his ear, no rest, no peace, no mercy.

Please pardon the flecks of spittle and twitching.  The Republicans piss me off a bit and it's late. I'm going to shut this computer off,  take Lucky for a walk and then go to bed.

If you can play the cowbell, thank a sheet metal worker.

    •  I'd settle for Dems getting 51% (7+ / 0-)

in all 6 districts.  I'm not hard to please.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.

      •  Yeah, a win is a win, but (7+ / 0-)

Jess lost to Hopper in 2010 by less than 200 votes.

No fat-headed overconfidence is allowed.  We gotta campaign as if we are 5 points down no matter what the polls say.

The comments upthread about civility and non-violence are spot on.  We are all committed to winning this struggle with our honor intact.  I know that violence is utterly counter-productive, but Walker and his crew of weasels stir me up to towering rages.

I'm trying to channel all this anger into constructive action.  On election night, I want to see Hopper buried under a landslide so overwhelming that his name will be forever associated with defeat and failure.

When I first wrote down my rant™ I was really worked up.

Now that I have had some time to pause

        and reflect,

to meditate on what truly matters in life...

Beautiful sentiment, & it couldn't happen to a worse group of right wing, opportunistic Republican state Senators!
