  •  Good news, bad news (5+ / 0-)

The good news is that Michelle Rhee's star is dimmed.  The bad news is that even is exposed as a fraud, or even if she is shown to be corrupt, the corporate press/media will still treat her as an authority.  Being wrong is not a problem for corporate media stars.  Cf. Newt Gingrich and every Bush/Cheney official who championed the invasion of Iraq.

And even if Rhee is rendered useless, the corporate forces who want to get their hands on the public education budgets will simply hire another attractive, well-spoken advocate to represent them.

Same day our legislature passed union-busting SB 5. The vote was delayed slightly so some of our state senators could go with Kasich and Rhee to attend a screening of ... bet you can guess!

      Waiting for Superman!

And this was two days after the expose came out, but Kasich is amoral human scum and doesn't care.
