    and that is the GOP's main problem with education--you have to know that questions need to be asked to keep from making mistakes,
    ask questions about the way certain people are treated, ask WHY we're doing this before we rush in.

    Questions are the essence of education. It is where learning begins.

    I gave best classroom grades to students who challenged the ideas I was presenting.

      and unfortunately, most education reform efforts focus on convergent thinking (let's all get the right answer) vs. divergent thinking (let's all think outside the box). another problem inherent in reform.
