      Where is the 'market force' that would punish this kind of perfidity and effrontery?

      Probabaly busy handing out bonuses back at Transocean or maybe one of the Wall Street Banks for their record-breaking level of destruction brought down on people outside the already wealthy and powerful.

      It is becoming increasingly obvious that the only real function for the "invisible hand" as it is now constituted is to cover the eyes, ears and mouth of the three monkeys of corproate accountability:

      See no evil
      Hear no evil
      Speak no evil.

      Or, in more curren parlance:  Look forward, not back.  

      We'd rather dream the American Dream than fight to live it or to give it to our kids. What a shame. What an awful, awful shame.
