we need to increase revenue and cut spending on military, homeland (fascist name if ever there was one) security, and start taxing again.   We need to spend on r&d, infrastructure and things that make life sustainable for all members of society.

Blaming the party who pursues policies that wreck the economy, impoverish the middle class, starve the poor and try to add seniors back to the ranks of the poor will indeed give Americans much and cost them very little.

The deficit talk is a chimera, it was there all during the Bush years, doubled the national debt in his eight years, added more to the debt than every administration before him, and deficit spending wasn't a problem.  Now left with the recession teetering on the edge of depression, the housing bust and sky high unemployment, underemployment and wage depresssion, right wingers and the undereducated start bleeting about deficit spending.   Don't pee on my leg and tell me it is raining.

I think you'll find that your right wing talking points don't work so well here. Enjoy your stay nonetheless.

don't tax and spend if you are worried about deficits.   Same old shit as the last bunch of Republicans.

Plus if you examine tax and spend, it stimulates the economy,  GDP goes up, stock market goes up and the middle class and working class share the benefits of their labor instead of the upper 1% taking all the wealth.  And the rich are still rich even in tax and spend economies.  Win win versus destruction of America, I can live with tax and spend.
