  •  If I were a texter, I would insert an OMG... (13+ / 0-)

...here. But I'm not, so you'll have to settle for #!@@^&#!!+%*!@=~@$%%.

Not your response, but the ignorance of his. Before saying the treaties are not the issue, let's enforce them and see where things stand in 20 years. Then get back to us, nathguy.

    •  This is why I didn't respond to him here (7+ / 0-)

      A waste of time.

And lol btw for your cursing symbols.

      )))))))%%%%%%

      •  if i thought the treaties were ever going to be (0+ / 0-)

enforced, it would be a 100 year wait.

        Look, current situation.

The treaties are screwed, and have been and with the
Current Supreme court, isn't going to be
        changing that.

Look, Lakotia could be a huge Dakota sized thing, but, it's not going to be created this year, next or likely the next 10 years.

That said, the Locals are unlikely to kick people off of the reservations at Pine Ridge in the next 10 years either.

So, developing a sustainable economy and sustainable
energy loop would be a big step towards reducing suffering.

...Survival Conference near the Black Hills. There were a few thousand of us camped on private land, Indians and non-Indians, talking about just what you're saying. It's the same kind of talk that permeates the thinking of people who have solutions for the people of, say, resource-poor Guatemala. Stick people on bad land that is incapable of supporting them and it won't. Silver bullets don't exist. That's true whether it's an earthship in the flatlands of Pine Ridge or electricity generation in the most affluent nation on the planet.

          •  stick people on resource poor land (0+ / 0-)

            like Japan?

There are numerous resource poor nations, the key is figuring out to manage in spite of that.

Some resource poor nations become somalia,  raiding the
cargo ships off the coast, some become Japan.

            So why does Foxwoods exist?
