  •  Are you kidding? (10+ / 0-)

The Democrats are complicit in the corporate takeover of our government. They are no different from the Republicans in this regard.

There is little to no difference in the economic policies of Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2, and Obama. Pump money to the top and pray it trickles down has been the economic THEORY this country has operated under for over 30 years. The end result has been a reservoir of wealth at the top and a dried up riverbed downstream. Democrats couldn't care less. They continue to support and advocate for tax cuts for the wealthy with little to no opposition.

WAKE UP! You are being PUNK'd like the rest of the country into supporting the line of division this ONE political party has created to manipulate us. Until we the people recognize that the only division we should paying any attention to is the ever-widening gap between those wallowing in the reservoir and those of us looking for a drop in the dried up riverbed. Democrats helped and continue to assist in filling up the reservoir with little no effort of opening any gates. Only when we, the people, are UNITED will those flood gates be opened and the river run again.

except for, you know, shutting down the government vs not shutting down the government, collective bargaining vs no collective bargaining, minor quibbles like that.

We already have death panels. They're called insurance companies.

When over one hundred thousand workers and laborers marched on the capital of Wisconsin, not one prominent, nationally recognized Democrat spoke out in support of the working class. NOT ONE.

During that week, Obama had a press conference to discuss "gun control".

WAKE UP!!! YOu are being PUNK'd and we will all continue to be PUNJK'd as long as people like you continue to by their fantasy and false division.

The only division that matters is the ever-widening one between the super wealthy and the rest of us.

I know you meant that term in reference to a third party, but because of the specific words chosen, it sounds like "Third Way," which of course is the insane centrists that are in control of the Democratic party now.  And of course the Third Way's goal is in making the Democratic party as conservative as possible and in producing as little difference between the partiest as possible.

      •  I also see a big difference. (0+ / 0-)

Yes, the Dems are very flawed and sell us out often. But real people suffer much, much more under R rule.

For me, it is a moral imperitive to support most Dems  even though there are times I am so angry and so discouraged.  Too many will suffer if Rs rule.
