  •  Do we gotta? (none)
    Demand an apology I mean...

Can't we just shame every single republican in Nevada by kicking the snot out of this guy for being a raving lunatic every chance we get for the next few years? I prefer the idea of vicariously bitch-slapping every obnoxious piece of shit that voted for him, over and over and over and over....

Why go on the defensive when the offensive is so much more fun? I say we ground the dumb son of a bitch into a fine silt, every day until Nevada republicans are so sick of being lumped in with him that they use their noggins the next time they go vote.

    C'mon, it'll be fun.

    •  Great idea! (none)
When we moved to Reno about fifteen years ago, there was a guy from Nevada in congress (don't recall if Senate or House) named Chick Hecht or something like that.  He, too, was an absolute assinine idiot.  I could not believe he had actually been elected.  He kept saying stupid things and his stupid remarks  kept being reported and he was not reelected.  Of course, Poppy Bush made him an ambassador to somewhere.

I am hopeful that your plan will work against Gibbons.  Unfortunately, after the last election, I am not certain that voting against him will work.  It seems that Repubs have successfully figured out how to fix every election.

in his successful bid for the Senate seat he holds today.

Let Gibbons talk, bait him.  Give him rope.  He's pretty good at hanging himself when he gets away from the party line.

        •  You guys don't know the 1/2 of it (none)
When I was growing up in Douglas County the representative at the time said on record, "we don't have black people in Nevada because it's too cold."

How I ever grew out of hate and bigotry I'll never know...maybe I just read too much.

Send us your used sandals and shoes and we'll help out other people.
