I just wrote the Governor of Nevada asking that he publicly condemn Gibbons remarks.

    Dear Governor,

I am sorry to bother you with this complaint as I am not a state resident, but Mr. Gibbons mouthed some very mean spirited things about average Americans in his address yesterday. The link following is the article:

I am a liberal, in fact my parents and their brothers and sisters were. They were a first generation Italian family. They served in WWII bravely. They know what it means to be American.

I served my country as well. My brother did also.

I resent Gibbons slander and innuendo. I do not believe he is man enough to slander me to my face. He can only spew his vile words in the safety of like minded people.

After careful thought, Las Vegas will no longer be on my list of places to visit. I'd rather go to Atlantic City or one of the Native America casinos in upstate New York. They don't seem to have a problem with my political belief.

I can only urge you to publicly condemn Gibbon's inane and divisive statements.

Send the Gov a note too!

May not have any effect, but what the heck. If we don't let our voices be heard, we will get what we deserve.
