    a very conservative state.  He was talking about Jane Fonda and Martin Sheen, a surefire bellringer in Nevada.  Read his remarks.  This guy is a moron.  By complaining about him, we give him credibility and exposure, that's all I'm saying.  If we don't complain about him, who the hell knows who he is?  Did you know who he was before today?  I didn't.  That's all I'm saying.

    As for the front, I'm still here.  No one ever called me moderate - I just get more motivated on issues than morons like Gibbons.

    We do not rent rooms to Republicans.

      Only problem is, NV is not a very conservative state. Bush won there by just 2.5%. I don't think this guy's remarks play outside his base.

      Now, it's possible that by showering more attention on him, we are revving up his base. That did indeed work (ie, turning out the base) for Bush in 2004. But we also may be able to ramp up OUR base - the kind of people outraged by such remarks.

      And any time a GOP politician has to start issuing clarifications and apologies, that's a good thing. It means they are stumbling.
