Sometimes I think we on the left need to get rid of the moral high ground theory and use what always wins: the truth.

Whenever two groups argue based on morals, there is always room on both sides for claiming some superiority but the truth is the higher standard.

Yes, I know that some of you are thinking that Dems knew the truth and used it during the last election campaign, but it just was not used successfully. That's the difference: strategy. Change the game plan to ensure that, in the end, the truth is what's heard the loudest far and wide. And, base that truth on facts. Plain and simple. Skewed morality of the opposition has no defense against a strong campaign of truth telling.

maintain integrity.  Don't lie, don't cheat, just beat ass with the big maglight of truth and the nightstick of reality.

The truth and facts as you say need to be placed in a successful strategy.  Truth and facts are not absolute and become discarded  pieces if they do not fit into a frame.

The moral high ground is what every human being strives for, the right thing, the best of us.  The definition of the moral high ground is where the wheels come off.  UBL attracts through his definition of the moral high ground.  GWB attracts through his definition of the moral high ground.  The dems need a definition of our moral high ground to hold our facts and our truth.
