  •  This is incredibly suspicious (24+ / 0-)

I agree we need to be cautious about seeing conspiracies everywhere, but we need to be equally cautious about pooh-poohing them and ordering people to accept something this smelly at face value. Can you even IMAGINE the howls coming from the Republicans if the shoe were on the other foot? They would be demanding night and day that the votes not be counted, and would be everywhere holding this up as an example of how corrupt and underhanded Democrats were. They would be so aggressive Democrats would probably back down and agree.

As for 2000 and 2004, we know 2000 was at very least stolen in the Supreme Court if not earlier, since a statewide recount of Florida by a media consortium the following year showed that Gore carried Florida if ONLY the valid, certified votes were counted. And we have fairly solid evidence that 2004 was stolen here in Ohio, if only on the front end by voter suppression. But we have evidence it was stolen on the back end too.

    •  Yes, I agree (11+ / 0-)

I live in Madison, and the facts seem to converge too conveniently for me to just accept this without a lot of investigation.

I feel like some of the comments about not jumping to conclusions would be likened to those who accept O'Keefe's doctored videos as proof of problems with ACORN or CPB.

He's done it before.  It's his M.O.  Let's investigate things thoroughly before we accept Prosser's victory.

I'm still angry at Gore and Kerry for not fighting for more investigations into those elections, and their counting of votes.  Florida was a sham, and Ohio was a scam.

I think Dems here in Wisconsin are different than those in Washington DC.  We fight for what we believe.

Regardless of the outcome of this election, this will fuel the recall elections even more, and we will have this put to bed by the fall.

Two recalls are being certified with more than enough votes to pass any questioning, and four more are basically "done deals" but have not been turned in yet.

      Either way, we win.
