I would question any tight race that all of a sudden flips Republican when results, trends, exit polls, etc showed otherwise.

      Which side are you on?

even though it was caught almost immediately, corrected and publicized by the office that sent in the original mistally.

      Franken Senate Race.

I'll have to check whether it was in the actual appeal, but it was topic #1 in the war for public opinion that  they "found" a thousand votes (or whatever the # was) for Frankin all of a sudden.

Thing is, since it was a closely watched race, the office that was the source and others watching the race were on it in minutes and they discovered and corrected the error.

In the kind of race we had in WI, it amazes me that this didn't set off the same kind of bells and result in the same kind of immediate follow-up and correction.

We'd rather dream the American Dream than fight to live it or to give it to our kids. What a shame. What an awful, awful shame.

We need to be on guard all the time during elections and not be all starry-eyed little lambs gamboling to the slaughter.  Elections are vicious and need tough monitoring and fearless advocacy.  There is a saying that it's better to ask forgiveness than permission - meaning any discrepancy should be made an issue - make them prove us wrong, not cut us off at the knees at the outset by insisting on an airtight case before crying foul.  That way is 100% guaranteed to fail.

just an attempt to see just how heavy-handed they can be and get away with it. It's like the kid who strolls into your house and takes your XBox right out of your living room in front of you. Yeah, he wants it, but he also wants to see if you're going to let him get away with it.
