    stupid mistake.  But on its face the "correction" is still problematic.  It makes sense to fully investigate the event, because it is way out of the norm.  Even as an outlier event, I'm hard pressed to think of an election where there has been such a substantial adjustment.

      was because she failed to report the vote cast by the whole city of Brookfield.  Now if the change in favor of Prosser came from re-examining individual ballots then the number of extra votes he gained would be an outlier.

      The way the actual mistake (or fraud) occurred, there were only two possibilities open: either a large number of votes were added to the final total or none were.

      trusted the Wisconsin GOP with my cat's fleas before this "adjustment" the fact that this comes out of the blue and is exactly the number needed to avoid a recount is, well, extremely suspicious... to say the least.
