...speech before or that I would find a single word in it that I disagree with.

Don't tell me what you believe. Tell me what you do and I'll tell you what you believe.

I don't think you understand that what MLK was calling for 45 odd years ago has not been nearly achieved in this country.  All the nice white progressives like to discuss how he has a dream and lets make that a reality, but they do that because his dream included them.  No, this part of the presidenation has to do with the respect of the Black man something that this world has yet to attempt, and this president has illustrated the white left is not interested in.

Oh and I put it there for commenters like ThAnswr that has the balls to quote back to me something along the lines of I'm stupid and MLK says so.

Every moment in life contains an off ramp. Never be afraid to use it.

I think you make way too many assumptions about what I think, what I know and what I understand.

Racism didn't end with the Civil Rights Act or the Voting Rights Act. Anybody who does prison work knows that the minute s/he walks in the door. The juvenile "justice" system was racist when I was incarcerated more than 50 years ago. In some ways it's worse now. And that arena is, of course, just one in which racism is endemic.

Once again, in the fight against racism, there are allies among people of all colors, and likewise enemies.
