This is the distinction that is lost on you.  You seem to want to dilute the real problem by saying some group of your acquaintances don't hate the black man so that must be reality, oh don't broad brush.   Well I think the fence needs painting so bad who cares if a few people get some unintended splatter.

Most of the leftists I know — professional or amateur of whatever color — don't hate that fact; they helped make it happen.

You said whatever color which includes white people, so here we go again with reading comprehension, how would you as a visibly white man know if the proffessional or amateur

    white people
don't hate the fact.  The Black people who have been looking at this garbage all of their lives think they do, Joan gave us a brilliant instance of how the professional left belittles and shouts down the legitimate grievances of Black people.

    •  So now I should haul out ... (6+ / 0-)

...my CDIB so you can get over the fact that I am "visibly" white? Do yourself a favor and educate yourself about the racism in America that you haven't personally experienced.

Don't tell me what you believe. Tell me what you do and I'll tell you what you believe.

      •  an education in homophobia (0+ / 0-)

would also be a good lesson. one of the most egregious posters of homophobic comments, along with the infamous JoanMar (who wraps her homophobia in racism, to boot), on this site.

"I'm glad Obama was elected. Otherwise, people would blame the war on McCain and the Republicans and continue with the delusion that elections can be our salvation." ~ Stan Goff, anti-war activist, via (OMG!!!) facebook
