  •  Are the absentee ballots the cause (0+ / 0-)

    of the confusion?  If there were "186 absentee ballots [and] 1481 for the entire city of Brookfield" (progressivebadger's comment), then a comparable percentage would explain the difference between 177,424 and 156,804 total ballots cast in Waukesha County.

    •  The Clerk stopped updating her website (5+ / 0-)

      before the final count. The Elections Board, predecessor to the GAB's Elections Division, has the real, official numbers.
