    ...but we have to look at the larger picture. That's supposed to be what Democrats and/or progressives do. Republicans are all about "I got mine," but we look around and see how everyone else is doing, especially those who aren't as lucky.

    When I look around, I see the poor and working-class doing horribly. People are actually--not figuratively--working for free. Families are homeless. Insurance remains a luxury for too many.

    And our Democratic president has agreed to tax cuts for the rich--paid for by cuts to WIC and low-income community development and Pell Grants.

    If that president's name were anything other than Obama, would you still be trying to excuse him? Honest question.

      Sorry, this Obama voter, donor and volunteer is plumb out though.
