  •  Correction--Lincoln was in trouble (0+ / 0-)

throughout the cycle. She was never ahead; even, before Halter announced, she was trailing Boozman. (I know the militant left hated her, but I'm not sure what AR didn't like about her. Anyhow she seemed to have been the Mike DeWine of 2010). So she was always in trouble. But the others were still in good position.

I think FL will be tough for Obama. The state clearly leans to the GOP, so it's no surprise that he is having trouble there. I still think FL will be competitive.

As for PA, if Obama is losing there, he is losing 40 states. If Obama loses PA, he is also losing MI, MN, IA, NH, NJ, and maybe even CA, MD, DE, and CT. He would be faring as miserably as Michael Dukakis in 1988.

I don't see Obama losing PA unless he is suffering the drubbings Democratic presidential candidates received in 1980, 1984, and 1988.
