the solutions these graduates of private schools recommend are NEVER solutions which will make public schools more like elite private academies?

They don't demand for public schools the same teacher to student ratios they enjoyed in their elite private academies or the pay that gets these academies the best and brightest teachers.

They don't demand the kind of art and music programs they enjoyed as kids, in fact, they are usually the people who say public schools can't afford them.

They don't demand the kind of luxurious and comfortable facilities they attended themselves, they don't care if public education even gives students safe environments to learn in.

What do they want? "More efficient" education, rote memorization to pass tests, students who are too busy memorizing to learn advanced reading and research and thinking skills.

And above all, a way to turn the money currently spent on public authorities to provide education to private corporations which they either have personal financial stakes in or who are major campaign donors.

I think this is the real bottom line.

IMO, many of these people are sociopaths who don't even see people who can't afford elite private schools, i.e. people who are not part of "their world" as really human. So money spent on any but the most minimal education required so 'those people' can work for them is  wasted money that could be spent on gold-plating their private jets.

as opposed to making a medical diagnosis, i.e. stating that 'in my opinion, these individuals behave in a manner corresponding to published lists of characteristics of sociopaths'.

Perhaps those characteristics are considered signs of superiority over at AEI and ALEC. Not that you would know about any of those places, right?
