  •  I can remember back in the good old days (none)
    of Clinton.  I made enough money that every year I had several months where no SS was taken out of my check.  I thought that was stupid.  Heck, I was making plenty of money and I didn't miss the SS amount that was taken out.

    I think upping the cap is a good plan to fix SS.  But I'm sure most high income earners won't like that fix.

      My husband and I just completed our tax return.  I made enough money that I didn't pay any Social Security taxes in the last quarter.  What is up with that???  If I made that much money, would kicking back 30% break us?  Hell, no!  The best part is being able to give it to charities...I always wonder how much is enough for people to retire on...our values are so f***ed up.
