    I wrote about the emergency manager law in my personal blog.

    The solutions devised here will be exported, including the bad ones

    Whatever Detroit devises as the solutions for North America's problems will be exported to the rest of the continent.

    This includes the bad ideas--and does Michigan (not Detroit, but Detroit Public Schools have been where the idea has undergone proof of concept) ever have a bad idea for you.

    Not only did I write about Benton Harbor, but also Detroit Public Schools and Pontiac, which are also under emergency financial management, and Flint, where the mere threat of an emergency financial manager being appointed has prompted the firefighters union to make concession.

    I also wrote about the reports that this bad idea might be exported to Wisconsin.
