  •  Why does this seem so shocking (8+ / 0-)

    to some?

I would have been shocked if this didn't happen.

I think most of us know that corporations control Government....and still do.

So this shouldn't be "shocking" or "horrifying" - it should just confirm what we know and motivate us to work to change the way business gets done...if that's possible.

The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate object of good government. - Thomas Jefferson

    •  Oh bob, do you think exposing this, in the little (6+ / 0-)

cafes and head shops, is going to make the slightest difference?

A commenter mentioned "swamping Capitol Hilll and having Team Bush loyalists machine-gunning us down, there's nothing we could have done to stop it." People in Libya and Syria and Egypt and Tunisia are getting machine-gunned in their efforts to derail the Rich Folks' Juggernaut. Is the difference that we are content just to slowly slide down into genteel and then agject poverty, and they are coming from the very bottom, economically speaking, and trying to knock off the Kleptocratic Vampire Squids who have sucked so much life out of them?

Too bad we can't keep in mind the fundamental truth that there is enough real wealth to go around, share and share alike, but for the Kleptocracy...

The US Constitution was written expressly to prevent one man from changing anything.
