    That's like using "Christianity" as a pejorative.

    Every religion has overzealous nuts, but we don't condemn the entire religion because of them.

    Ideology is an excuse to ignore common sense.

      Promoted the "Islamisization" of Pakistan, and my comments were in the context of the state, which has for many years promoted Islam as a means of cohesion.  I could have been more artful about that, and I don't mean to convey that Islam is to blame or is in anyway related except that it is the tool of choice among the ruling class of Pakistan for retaining power.  

      That said, it's difficult for me to describe terrorist organizations that invoke their religion in the name of political goals to be anything other than radicals of that religion. If there is a better way to describe those organizations and terrorists I'm absolutely willing to use it, and I think a discussion about such a thing would be very productive.
