  •  It's the same with medical services (15+ / 0-)

Dems see them as essential, and people use what they need. Some need more than others.

Republicans see them as consumers, who CHOOSE to use medical services.

Disaster help is exactly the same. Nobody CHOOSES to have a tornado destroy their house, their livelihood, their possessions.

So why aren't Republicans saying 'too bad, so sad' and that they should have saved up enough to cover the cost of rebuilding their house and replacing everything they own?

Because they KNOW it's not realistic. Not when it's THEIR stuff, or THEIR family.

You know damn well if this was an earthquake in SF, they'd be screaming that those people should have been prepared, they should have saved, and that they CHOSE to live there, and didn't deserve any help.

Assholes. There's no other word (at least not that can be used in polite company).

which was alright by them, until Katrina and now Texas wildfire, and now mega tornadoes across "god fearing" territory.   I love the idea of someone researching who took and takes money, then publicizing it.

Newt 2012. Sociopath, adulterer, hypocrite, Republican.
