    It had the same impact on me and the concepts and story line has lingered around my creavices of my brain since 1976.  The "gloves" that they wear, the entry into the city, the citizens that live in abandoned skyscapers (and the one where a character falls down an elevator shaft but with no way to recover the body, everyone has to move because of the smell.)

    A great book by a great craftsman.
