Dealing with your sewer company and your electric company will become the same joyous experience that dealing with your mortgage company, health insurer, or cable company is.  That is, a nightmare of inefficiency.

Frankly, I am amazed at how wonderfully well the government does many things...

My older family members have never had a problem with either SS or Medicare.

My tax refund is always correct and on time.

In the few quibbles the IRS has had with my tax return, they have always been right, or accepted my explanation no problem.

My dealings with EFTPS are a model of efficiency.

After recent the storms here, the feds had the highways cleared of tons of debris in time for me to get to work the next morning.  Government fairies, indeed!

And I remain amazed that for a mere $0.44 I can have an envelope delivered to virtually any door in the entire country in about three days.  IMHO best deal around.

does not think past the class warfare discussion. They honestly think their property taxes will go down if we privatize schools. They never ask themselves how they will pay for their children's school? (garbage pickup, fire responders, police department, snow removal.....) or what the quality of that school/service will be.

Their inability to think anything through is stunning to behold.

Just before Walker dropped the bomb on us, our community lost a beloved teacher. The school hosted a visitation and the entire town was there. It was amazing.  I now think back and realize I stood in line with people who had Prosser signs in their yards just a few weeks later.

How they can vilify teachers after showing this teacher so much respect is beyond me. They just don't think it through.
