this little girl finds the sun
(and she's guarding one of my rides, too)

thank you sooooooo much for posting this diary
i just got home from a friends art opening and was hoping
someone posted a diary about bike week, etc.

no surprise at all to see
    it's you, sweet friend :-)

    ((((citisven))))

by the way, in case anyone is interested
philly is a mad hot bicycling city.
lots of new bike lanes and more on the way....
we are taking over the city of brotherly love

    yes, when the revolution arrives
it will surely be by bicycle

    •  awwww, what an amazing shot! (4+ / 0-)

I love your cat, she's adorable! And right in the sunlight where she belongs.

I've heard about Philly being a total bike haven. Will you pleeeaaase take some pictures and post a diary??!! Biking and brotherly (and sisterly) love are a match made in heaven. I know people always like to make a big deal about aggressive bikers, but there really is a great vibe among most riders, it does feel like a totally liberating bonding experience. And of course, who'd be right in the middle of a biking love huddle but the GREAT r-i-d-e-m-y-b-i-k-e.

I have been working on a bicycle diary.

it's like I'll never get it done
because I have so much to say and share
and it could never ever ever ever
be as glorious as your bicycle diaries are.

        but
I will try and free myself of this mile-high stack of notes
and put it into a diary......

(but please.... whatever you do, don't hold your breath waiting)

        :)

        •  simplify, that's my advice (0+ / 0-)

I totally hear you, I always feel like my diaries are way too long and drawn out. Who the hell wants to see so many pictures, it's like your aunt's vacation slideshow, I say to myself. But then I just say what the hell and hit the publish button. Anyway, I will not be holding my breath as I don't like being pressured myself. But I just know that whatever you'd post would be beautiful, insightful and heartfelt, and enrich all of us. The way to do it is to just forget about what anyone else has posted and just do it the ridemybike way. Pick one aspect of biking and pedal with it. ;-)

          •  thanks for your support, my sweet friend :) (0+ / 0-)

.... after a long a grueling day trip to nyc (on business)
I come home to find your words.

            :-)

I hope this reply finds its way to you...
