    i mostly got that DOMA was being dissed...and the judge isn't going to adjudicate DOMA's constitutionality, "but"...it's not a good reason.

    i guess the stuff you can't really get into that i'm asking others is also big picture...

    ...think this helps to build case law for further DOMA death?

      This decision won't be binding on any other court - in other words, another bankruptcy judge can decide DOMA does apply and not permit a legally married gay couple to file a joint bankruptcy.   However, even one judge feeling he has the authority to ignore DOMA is a wonderful sign that the refusal of the admin to enforce it has sent a message that DOMA is dead.
