    our insane idea to convert corn to ethanol (and even subsidize it).  Taking perfectly good human (and animal) food out of the food supply chain is just indefensible.  I would wager you that if you were to go through your pantry and refrigerator you would find very few products (salt, sugar, and other vegetables being the exceptions) that are not in some way connected with corn.

    Even Jello is made from animal collagen, and those animals are largely fed with corn.  This is an insane policy.
