I don't agree with creationism either. So, if you don't agree with it, don't go there. Why is that so hard for you?

With a state as poor as KY it will take whatever jobs it can get. I

It about calling people who support it stupid.

Creationism is false. Thus any discussion of it is a waste of one's good lifetime.

This should not be supported, defended or encouraged.

How about a theme park based on the benefits of tobacco smoking?

      •  You don't have to go there!!!! (0+ / 0-)

I don't know how else to say it. You may not agree with creationism. And if you don't agree with it, as I've said it over and over again, you don't have to go to that park.

But Beshear would be committing political malpractice if he allows those jobs to go to another state. In a state with high unemployment and poverty like KY, Beshear doesn't have the luxury of staking out the politically suicidal position you'd like him to embrace.

        •  Not going to go there. Going to just post diaries (3+ / 0-)

calling people stupid for even thinking about creationism.

          It's an underserved social need.

Too many people think its ok to accept it.

        •  Why don't you try addressing the real issues (3+ / 0-)

rather than repeating the same phrase, which completely ignores the issue.

I don't have to go to graduation, yet the government can't support religion there.  I don't have to go to a courthouse, yet the government can't place the ten commandments there.  Please explain to me how using tax dollars for a religious them park is different.  Without telling me the solution is simply for me to not go there.   Please.  In just one of your many posts, how about you actually address the issue rather than suggesting it's okay to violate the constitution and we have no basis for objecting to it because we can just avoid the violation?

          •  I honestly don't think it is pushing religion (0+ / 0-)

on anyone because you don't have to go there.

            •  Once again, why don't you address the real (0+ / 0-)

issue?  You're simply ignoring it, pretending it doesn't exist.  Like I said, I don't have to attend a graduation, yet they can't have a religious prayer.  I don't have to enter a courthouse, yet they can't post the ten commandments.  I really don't care whether you think it's pushing religion.  What I care about is what the Constitution and our courts say.  And those issues you're simply continuing choosing to ignore by repeating your own personal opinion again and again and again.

No one ever thinks there's anything wrong with their religious beliefs being involuntarily supported by others who don't agree with them.  Sounds like you're smack dab in the middle of that camp.

are the word of god, and that they disprove evolution at Disney Land?   Because this place is set up to mislead, deceive, and make people stupid.   Disney doesn't teach people that their attractions are facts.
