    who are going to represent that acceptance.

    If everyone on the ballot in someone's area is against marriage equality or even simple nondiscrimination policies, that person can't 'vote their acceptance' without moving - and giving the remaining bigots a stronger presence in the area by simply not being there anymore.

      Is it bad to think that eventually they'll die off? It's a generalization, but a lot of the bigots are older people who can't wrap their head around different sexual orientations. Once they're gone, there could be more accepting candidates after that.
