If it's true the Tea Party inmates are running the asylum (and I believe it is), then you have to take into consideration that the Tea Party is the biggest Fake Grassroots organization in existence; it has been bought and paid for (and largely fostered) by Big Money (of the Koch Brothers variety).

There's huge money to be made by the privatization of Medicare (which is essentially what Ryan's plan is).  Big Money wants in, which means getting government out. Now.

The Big Money crazies who believe the government should not be in the business of doing much of anything, who poured so much money into the 2010 elections, are calling the shots now, twisting more mainline Republican arms.  Thus, the push to derail Medicare comes from the Republicans, now.

    Stupid is as stupid elects.

Is this could be the etherial moment where people stop for a moment and realize they are getting fucked over in a most heinous way by this bill.  That's happening.

I really believe that Hochul is going to win today in the Craigslist district - and when she does it will send a shockwave through the GOP.

They are going to have over a year to perform damage control - but they will be licking their wounds for sometime to come.

The dems are going to HAMMER them like a cube steak this election and beyond on this vote and what exactly the ideology means.

Are there no prisons? No workhouses?
