    Plus, the corporatocracy just doesn't need us any more. They don't need a middle class to make things, and they don't need Americans to be able to buy things anymore either.

    Wal-Mart reported net income of $3.39 billion, or 97 cents per share, in the three months ended April 30. That compares with $3.3 billion, or 87 cents per share, in the same period last year
    Wal-Mart's US division posted a 0.3 percent drop in revenue at stores open at least a year, dragged down by a 1.1 percent drop at its namesake stores.
    Wal-Mart's international business, which produces 26 percent of company revenue, is a bright spot.

    The international division's revenue rose 11.5 percent to $27.9 billion in the first quarter, led by gains in Mexico, China and Chile. Revenue grew strongly in all international markets except Japan, which was hurt by the earthquake and tsunami.

    America is so not like her hype.

      ...from Germany and Korea and send Wal-Mart on its way out if they know what is good for them, the countries, in the long run. And now that I think about it, Wal-Mart in China should make sense to the Chinese. After all they are buying locally made products by going to Wal-Mart.
