    Running for an open seat in a highly partisan high profile Congressional election seems very different than running for re-election to a lower profile County Clerk position. Add in the fact that she wasn't seriously threatened in 2010 (she won with 77% of the vote), and that she had numerous minor party endorsements, it would have been highly unlikely for her to hold her 2010 numbers.

    Once social change begins,it cannot be reversed. You cannot uneducate the person who has learned to read...You cannot oppress people who are not afraid anymore.
