  •  Very frustrating. (0+ / 0-)

We're getting ready to move, so this has been on my mind a lot lately. I currently have a smartphone through Verizon, and had been planning for some time to get an iPhone when the next version came out. Verizon and AT&T are the only carriers that have the iPhone (I had considered adding a section on device exclusivity and lockout, but was afraid it would dilute my overall point), and AT&T doesn't work for me. Besides, AT&T has already done away with unlimited data unless you already had it. But now that Verizon has announced that it will do so as well, I may give up on having a smartphone altogether. It's a real shame; I liked the technology, and I was willing to pay for it, but I refuse to be ripped off as they restructure their pricing to be the opposite of what I need.
