    that anyone who has been in Congress, in either house, should, when leaving, be told that they can visit only on the same terms as John Q Public. Leaving office should require giving up those fancy official privileges they like so much. (That should apply to any elected or appointed official, really. The privileges are part of the office, not personal right.)

    (Is it time for the pitchforks and torches yet?)

      being an elected official, i.e., member of U.S. House or Senate, was considered an honorable position?

      Because I'm not seeing anything that causes a number of these people to deserve any respect.

      To every millionaire who decries they don't want their grandchildren paying for the deficit, I say: PAY MORE TAXES NOW and your grandkids won't have a deficit burden.
