Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

To every media outlet known to mankind?

      No.

And I'm not casting stones. Just saying he's skeevy as hell, and I think he's lost all credibility and he should resign.

I'm not an elected representative. The standards are higher, and let's not pretend for a minute that they're not. Lying on a mass scale - about anything - is an absurdly bigger deal for a Congressman than it would be for a private citizen, even if that citizen had the opportunity to do so. The citizen would be a public clown, but would not have betrayed a public trust, which is what Weiner did.

The next time Anthony Weiner says, "Trust me" on ANY issue... Why should we?

That's called Having Wasted Your Capital on A Stupid, Stupid Issue.

about far more serious matters than tweets for centuries.

Want a recent example?  All that WMD in Iraq that tricked into an illegal war for no legitimate purpose. That war killed hundreds of thousands of people, made refugees out of millions and left an environmental disaster in its wake.

Now that's a lie from a politician I won't forgive, but our media has.

The seriousness of the matter he lied about is what counts? Not the fact that he lied repeatedly for ten days? To everyone under the sun, on national tv, with a straight face, and tried to smear someone else's character (even though that man's character already sucked - that shouldn't matter, he called the man a liar when he himself was lying - that's reprehensible).

I cannot believe you're defending the man. He lied. Period.

If he stole a book from a store, he would have stolen something. The fact that it was a book and not a hundred dollars, or a hundred thousand, would really be irrelevant. He would be a Congressman who was a thief. Period. He is a Congressman who lied. He is a liar. But, for god's sake, he is a pathological liar. Go back over the tape. It's godawful, what he did. It's painful to watch.

I'm really done here. THIS is painful, watching people try to rationalize this. It's Democrats trying to rationalize what they would CRUCIFY Republicans for, all over again.

Bush is to Jose Padilla what Obama is to Bradley Manning. Try getting a hundred Kossacks to admit that. It's like pulling teeth. IOKIYAD? Yeah. It's embarrassing, Democratic hypocrisy. I am embarassed to be a Democrat today. As I have been, frankly, since about mid-2009.
