    I am not opposed to tariffs.  I don't consider myself to be a "free trader".  You need to be selective with tariffs, as many European countries already are, because a sweeping tariff will cause massive inflation.

      and that we could really use a bit more inflation, to be honest, tariffs don't sound like a bad way to accomplish that.
