    terminology for being against the public schools [teachers/funding/integration/nutrition/curriculum, etc.]:
    casting everyone else as of course . . .

    cf: pro-life.  This is how it is done.

    So what are we, when are opponents are claiming to be "pro-student."?

    Teacher Ken?  Anyone?

    That's understandable when I realize that I can't feel my body.

      I'm a 35 year veteran teacher who has spent the majority of my life working on behalf of kids in poverty. I guess I'm not "pro-student."

      Isn't it amazing that real people actually buy into this?  It certainly is a big insult to those of us who actually work with students.

      I agree, we need to counter the "Pro-Student" nonsense they are spewing. They've already taken "pro life" to make anyone "pro freedom" of choice evil.

      IMO, they are really pro-corportist, anti-middle class.

      It isn't shameful to vote your own self-interest instead of the interests of multi-national corporations--iceman
