      Hardly.  

      The only thing this country makes anymore is financial transactions.  We — or rather, the banks — make money by charging to move other people's money around.

      The corruption in this country is rampant, and foul.

      Shirley Chisholm was right. Our Republic is in deep trouble.

      of both houses of Congress and many state governments by business interests "small scale." Corruption is just less obvious here because instead of having to bribe a police officer to not get a ticket for a made up reason, it's instead happening to the big boys in Washington.
