  •  If I had a tape of that (17+ / 0-)

I'd post it on You Tube and every time I got a G-- D--- right wing email questioning the patriotism of Democrats I'd send it to them.

during basic training in 1942.  He never fought.  He partied with women, whiskey and reefer.  Sold used cars.  Was an A & R man for Columbia Records and sold Whiskey for Hiram Walker distilleries.  He was born in Mansfield, Ohio to a mother who performed as a snake charmer in the circus, had my dad, joined the Navy, divorced my grandfather, married FDR's personal masseuse (a medical specialist in the Navy) and ultimately was buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

The only relevant fact is that he was born in Mansfield, Ohio.

All of us should confront these un American people as boldly and forcefully as your cool dad.

Here is the bottom line.  To question any man's patriotism or devotion to God is a deeply personal insult.  Capitalism is absolutely not what this country was founded upon, equality was that precept.  I am personally sick and tired of money grubbing royalists questioning my patriotism and compassionless Christianists questioning my devotion to God.  Fuck that.  I take deep offense and I want them to say it to my fucking face.  And they will get a dose of equality, American style.
