    That would require that something else would then be negatively charged, and there would then be a potential difference (voltage) between. I think that's unlikely.

    But some people do claim to get "Chinook headaches", and these kinds of winds do have a reputation for being unsettling to some.

    Personally, windy days often put me on edge, especially if I have to be outside in the wind. And the thing about Chinooks here is that the temperature goes up into the 50s or so, but you know it's going back down into the 20s when the wind stops, and after a few months of winter and short days, that's depressing too.
