on the assumption that The Media does honest reporting.  And that's only your first mistake.

President Obama is clearly and openly engaging in The Politics of Distraction, something he swore he was able to rise above. I notice you don't dispute that fact.

So save your self-righteous, hypocritical, nonsensical, spittle-flecked, off-topic Puritanical bullshit for someone else.

ridiculous to say that answering a direct question about an issue that is in fact a distraction that the media is obsessed with is somehow engaging in the Politics of Distraction. That question would have been repeatedly posed to the WH & the President until he gave an answer. Not answering the question would have led to further distractions/discussions/speculation, but, of course, I said that already. The President answered the question and, as I said before, he moved the fuck on. If you don't get it, you don't get it. Perhaps you don't watch the news enough to know how they operate. Don't really give a damn & since you're coming off as a bit thick, I'm not going to run through it with you again.

I'll end this time wasting convo with you by saying that if you want to get pissy, aim it in the direction of Weiner for having suckered you in to defending the hell out of his lying ass. That's too bad for you.

        will get you nowhere. "Sweetheart".

You clearly don't even understand what the Politics of Distraction is.

That question would have been repeatedly posed to the WH & the President until he gave an answer.

Yeah, sort of like what happened to the Congressman until he gave an answer.

But you just carry on. Don't let the fact that President Obama swore he was above this kind of crap get in the way of the vomitous puritan hypocrisy on display all around us.

        •  Did or did not Weiner (0+ / 0-)

send picture of his freaking penis out over the internet and then he lied for a week?? That is Yes, your comments are over the top with this subject. And likely you did not vote for the President anyway so you would have had something to say regardless.

          •  The diary title (0+ / 0-)

belies your entire first sentence--we are not discussing what Anthony Weiner did. The discussion is about The President's thinking.

            Did you miss that part?

Your comment, with its sad attempt to paint me as "someone who likely did not vote for the President anyway" (which is bullshit, btw), shows you have zero fucking argument on this diary's thesis.

            Zero. Fucking. Argument.

Pointing that out is not "over the top".

            •  So only you (0+ / 0-)

can have thoughts?? You can't talk about what the President said without visiting what Weiner did, duh! Otherwise there is not point in the diary in the first place.

Sorry, weiner did this not the Presdident and too bad if you can't except this.

      •  and yeah (0+ / 0-)

you're ending this conversation for one reason and one reason only--because you can't explain away the blatant hypocrisy.
