GOP talking points) has a damaging piece up on Huntsman's family business this morning:

After three months of back-and-forth, the company founded by Jon Huntsman Sr. and run by Huntsman’s younger brother Peter reluctantly shuttered its Iran operations in January 2010 to avoid “reputational risk.”

But the issue of the subsidiary — first brought to POLITICO’s attention by a Huntsman opponent — suggests that Huntsman faces political risk from his connection to Huntsman Corp., which has 12,000 employees worldwide and revenue exceeding $9 billion as of 2010, when, as expected, he declares his candidacy for president.

Then came a column by influential columnist John DiStaso of the Manchester Union Leader pointing out that the issue could resonate in the New Hampshire primary — thanks to local lawsuits alleging that MBTE had contaminated local groundwater.

Someone in the GOP fed a lot of oppo-Research to Politico. I wonder if it was Rove, Romney or Pawlenty?
