how much jet fuel did you burn up to eat dinner 500 miles from your dinner table????????

This way of life is revulsion and evil and the rich and going to learn that lesson the hard way.

The possession of unreal amounts of money leads to the most unreal type of thinking.

needs to find out where the private airport is their area.

That's the place the criminal rich are going to make a beeline to when they crash the whole economy again.

This time we need to stop them from fleeing the scene of their crimes.

        •  I live too far from the homes of the superrich (0+ / 0-)

They don't live here.  We only have the one airport.

In LA, in contrast, it's easy to look up where the private-jet airports are.  Van Nuys has one of 'em.

Read pp. 1-7 of Krugman's _The Great Unraveling_ (available from Google Books). NOW.

    •  Probably not that much extra. Assuming he (0+ / 0-)

weighs say, 250 pounds (including the weight of a good sized backpack for the day trip) I would be surprised if it added more than 10-20 pounds of fuel consumption to that trip.  As for the total fuel consumption, probably quite a bit as a Learjet 35 can burn through 750 pounds of fuel in 40 minutes.
