    Not every organization is as clumsy in their mail marketing as the DNC is in this slice of inanity.. Far from it.

    This is seriously old-school, think-your-target-market-are-morons, gratuitous tree slaughter.

     Spam, a few steps up from penile enhancement marketing, about the same level as vintage Publishers Clearing House.. "if you win, which color Jaguar do you want? Select the sticker for the Jaguar you want if you win, and stick it in the box at the right, so we can prepare in advance!"

    If my direct marketing agency proposed something as neanderthalish as this, they'd be laughed out of the meeting room...

      a mailing offering a sweepstakes prize, all completely legit with legal authorization, that offered the grand prize of a "1957 Chevy Model Car"

      Wouldn't mail it.
