The Main subject is the Study and Birth Defects!

Mountain top mining or removal are irrelevant, but one finds on sites like this, subject doesn't matter, just 'their' individual correctness does!

Most people don't know what goes on in my state. A Hiroshima worth of explosives a week to blow up the mountains of the mountain state. The head on the Coal Association wants to call MTR a "construction site", like getting ready for the new post office building or something.

First the ancient trees are removed. The forest not scrubbed by the advance and retreat of the glaciers. The nursery of our nation. Seedstock of the deciduous canopy.

Then heat and powdering of ancient dirt. That is where the health effect start. LOTS of surface area, heavy metals no longer trapped, dumped in the hollows, and the leaching begins. The external costs make coal fired electricity about .25/kWh not the .08/kWh I get charged.

      But think about it.

Death tax: everyone dies, oh noez! Eliminate! Eliminate!
Inheritance tax: hmm, only for the rich. Never mind.

      "Normal" for Sen. Chinless McConnell
"Filibuster" to the rest of us

      Climate change or global warming?

I have a daughter that just married Army. Before she was a copy editor at the local paper and worked on the river summers in college. I would say "Words matter".

Her bottom line: "Nothing else matters if there is no clean water to drink."
