    and so many others. on the low side i had a penchant for batman, sergeant rock, lots of marvel as a kid. the question of "how could you get into it as an adult?" is almost incomprehensible but not impossible. maybe if the adult could make noises with his or her mouth to accompany the viewing experience...

      both had Big Babies. I just latched on to THE COMPLETE CRUMB COMICS VOLUME 5 (out of print and no immediate plans to reissue says the publisher) and was marveling at some of the (then, circa 1968) timely social criticism. And Burns BLACK HOLE is a favorite, a terrifying metaphor for growing up. Thanks.
